Pocket knife

Hello i was cleaning out some stuff from grandfathers basement an i come across a small pocket knife an i am trying to find out where it come when it was etc an no im not wanting to sell it holds to much sentimental value to me but it has 2 blades an a bottle opener and on the side it has the old gulf sign an thomas petrolum prod inc on the side any information as to where i can look to find info or info on this knife would be appreciated just trying to find out where my grandfather may have gotten it at

Sounds like he might have gotten it at a gas station. I would start by researching the history of the town your grandfather lived in. There may have been a Gulf station there operated by Thomas Petroleum.
