This is a 15n20 steel osage orange handled pocket nessmuk. Fourth one! Convex grind, buffed out 400 grit finish- field grade, not quite as mirrored as it seems.
Handle is osage orange with a linseed oil finish, easy to maintain and ages well. Handle rivets have a bit of character shape from peening and then sanding down.
6 inches OAL with a blade of 3 1/8.
Sheath- I can set this up for belt or neck carry, right or left hand. similar to the sheath in the bottom most photo (from another pocket nessie)
Asking $80 including usps priority shipping in US. paypal, postal money order preferred. Shipping to europe and australia seems to general cost about $10 to $15 more.
In the photo it has all but the final edge. I did a testing edge and tested it before final finishing, then pretty much just barely knocked it off with final sanding and buffing. Down to just under a burr forming sharpness. I like to ship sharp, but if you have a particular method you love for sharpening, or final angle you want to put on it, you can have it virgin.
These hold up well for regular use with just a rouged strop, if you really dull it out some a mousepad with 400 and 600 grit works well, then strop again. (a belt grinder works well, too)
a sheath on another one.
