Thanks for sharing. I remember camping in Death Valley and seeing that peak. I grew up in the mid-west and still can't fully comprehend how a peak can seem so close you could almost touch it, yet remain nearly inaccessible. What a workout. Who needs a stair stepper when all that beauty awaits.
