The DC3/DC4 diamond/ceramic (...) The diamond side of the hone is fairly coarse too. Maybe comparable to the DMT Coarse.

the diamond side is 25 microns according to falkniven's catalog. wich should match a dmt C.

but i agree that it feels and acts slightly coarser...

thanks, looks like the coarse/fine DMT diafold looks like the way to go

Actually, 25 microns matches DMT's spec for the Fine (red) hone. The DMT Coarse (blue) is 45 microns. That's surprising. The DC4 seems coarser than that.

oups, my brain farted that's what i meant, i feels and act slightly coarser than the dmt F but not exactly like a C imho.
