Hey everyone!

I'm looking for a pocket sized fixed blade knife for EDC. I will be carrying this in my front jeans pocket and can't have much showing. I already have an Esee Candiru and Izula, a SOG Snarl, and a 5.11 Side Kick. I am looking for something different than these. Any suggestions? I would also like it to have a durable sheath with strong retention as I do a lot of activity, like hiking and trail running (obviously not in jeans).

Thanks!

If/when you can find one they are awesome. Been carrying mine everyday since I got it

EK&t makes an awesome knife, hands down most comfortable little blade I've had. Email him he may have one laying around..

Check out the White River Backpacker as well, I haven't had a chance to get one yet but it's on my list of knives to get.

I want one of those Companions something fierce.

Boker Vox Rhino? If it's for hiking and retention is a goal it would be a fine pocket knife.

Bark River has a whole array of awesome knives to suit your needs.

They seem to have a lot of interesting knives in pocket size. I've been trying to push the limits a little bit because I want something that I can get a good grip on. My latest test involves a Bark River Highland, which is 7 3/4" long. I also have a Bark River Bravo Necker 2 which is about 7" long. When I put the Highland and its original leather sheath in my jeans pocket (Wranglers) the handle sticks out almost an inch. The Necker 2 comes close to fitting all in the pocket. I think if you want the knife to conceal pretty well in your pocket it needs to be a little under 7". Of course with other brands of jeans it might be a little different. I also think if you want better fit you could have a minimalist kydex sheath made.

Can't find any for sale new :(

Go to the EK&T subforum. Brian started a thread where you can sign up to make sure you get in on the next run. The Companion is a bad ass little knife. Cuts like knives much larger with ease.

Check out the White River Knives Knucklehead, LT Wright Skeleton Key and if willing to spend more money the Fiddleback Forge Runt!

TOPS Tibo & Becker Eskabar are the only two i can think of that are readily available, at a low price, that haven't been mentioned.
