This is a handmade self-defense Pocket Spike. It is based on the design and function of the yawara, an ancient Japanese fighting/self-defense tool. It is made from 19th century tool steel and stag. Shows age and previous use with some genuine patina remaining. The tool retains some of its original tooling grooves. Measures 7 1/8" total length, including the stag pommel with its original metal end cap. The stag has a tiny crack that has been filled and finished smooth. The tool is solid steel with a hand carved design. The original makers mark reads, "WOSTENHOLM, ENG." It is made from a butchers honing rod. Comes with a custom wet-formed leather sheath with a snap cover. Great defense tool in an emergency situation. Perfect for carrying in a pocket, purse or handbag. Handmade from reclaimed material. No two are exactly alike. $50.00 shipped anywhere within the USA and its protectorates. Email me at billgoodwin1958@gmail.com
