Pocket Wallet 2.0

Went over to Barry's shop a little bit ago. Ended up getting a push beader and instruction from Ryan on how to properly use it. I think it'll do exactly what I'm looking for. Maybe I'll want to get more sizes in the future but for now I think that's going to be the ticket. Also picked up a nice hollow ground swivel blade for my cheap tandy swivel knife. I think it'll make a lot of difference having a nice sharp blade to make my cut too. Will post some results.

What a difference a tool can make! Love the King push beader. Playing around last night I found the sweet spots to push and pull with it.

New tools are a wonderful thing! :)

Thanks! Yeah, that's one of the benefits of living near Sheridan. The Engineering firm I work at is actually just two doors down from Barry's shop. I've known Barry and his brother for a long time before I ever considered getting into leather myself.

hmmmm, anybody care to take some pictures how to properly make creases/lines like this and which tools you use? i might want to try making a wallet like this myself. wasn't there a tutorial/wip on a wallet somewhere around here as well?

I have posted this little device before, but it fits in this thread as well. Springfield Leather carries these and they are not expensive, and fit almost any swivel knife. They do not bevel as deeply as the stamp bevelers, but they do more than an adequate job for borders and bead blade cut lines.

In the photos below it is installed in the center swivel knife.

Thanks a lot! Cause I am having a hard time using the beveling stamps... May e I am just using one with a too small footprint or it is the lack of practice.
