You can just carry it in your pocket or on a belt using the rubber band.

… but not least… It makes a neat little necker.

Mr. Goo, or Tai if I may... :D

Love the design concept and the multi purpose aspects. Also love the overall traditional look - but wouldn't a braided piece of light colored Sinew or Leather work somehow in lieu of the ..ah.. Rubber Band?

I know elasticity is the key, and I of course can't think of any readily avaiable elastic natural material.....

Neato. Always something creative.

...need to find a black rubber band - more tactical...

Thanks guys.

I really like the rubber band, looks fine (once you get past the preconceived notions about rubber bands) and works great,... but you could tie it together with something else. It doesn't have to have elasticity to work, but it would be a bit slower to tie it.

Really like the knife and the concept!

I get a lot of purple and green rubber bands off of veggies from the local stores. One of those might be more to my taste. I'll bet that a black o-ring would also work for those who don't like the rubber band look.

Thanks Dan. I like the O-ring idea. Maybe even just a small O-ring on a cord with a loop at the other end, or two small ones on the ends of a cord.

The idea is,... multiple carry and fastening possibilities. I've mentioned a few ways you can carry it (and fasten it), but I'm sure we could think of others...

I forgot to say, the brass pin in the scabbard only shows on one side, so you know which way it goes. The texture is only on the front (bevel side) of the knife too. The back also needed to be flat or smooth for the way it's sharpened, with no secondary bevel.

It's a fun little piece. :)
