2. Alan Davis flipper - This was my very first custom and honestly its absolutely perfect in everyway and hard as hell to let go but Im not using it so Im forcing myself to so I can have funds for the grail search. Knife specs according to Alans email - The blade came out 3 3/8” tip to scales with and overall length of about 8”. The liners are .070 titanium and the blade is 1095 and 15n20 damascus. It has a bearing pivot system, titanium clip and titanium back spacer.
You probably wont notice but at the end of the handle theres small cut outs so you can choke up on the knife without taking away from any of the cutting edge its absolutely perfectly smooth against the blade when opened and there is also a cut out for you to access the liner while at the same time giving you amazing grip. In everyway this knife is comfortable no matter which way you grip it with no rough spots you can tell how much detail went into making it the more you look the more detail you see and its just amazing. I didnt even mention the rattlesnake filework on the spine of the blade and that it is the smoothest flipper Ive ever had.
Asking again what I put into it 400$ with all fees covered its cut paper just to test how sharp it is and carried to church a few times no visible wear
