Pointed tang on a balisong?

This is just a thought I've been playing with. Does anyone know if there are balisongs with a pointed tang, for enhancing the striking potential with the knife closed? I know it wouldn't make such a big difference, but anyway. What I have in mind wouldn't necessarily have a sharp tang, just an angle instead of a curve would do the trick.

While I don't know where you can get on offhand right now, the idea of a pointed tang is not new. In fact, a diamond-shaped tang is also common. This had three points, one on the end, and one on each side for great striking capabilities.

Consider this tang:

The eagle's wings form great striking weapons. You may wonder about the head. Well, that forms a bottle cap opener.

David Boye's little butterfly is made JUST like that, because...he doesn't use the Pin locking method, he makes his using a tapered tang that hits against the back sides of the handle instead of the pin. Cool idea, though these little `flys are very little, blade length about 1 3/4" but very well made, don't know if he will make anymore, as Matt William Conable, of the William Henry fame, did the finals on those knives. I had one for a short time and traded, miss it pretty badly!

the first name that comes to mind is Erikson's GIANT skullcrushr tanto on Kendalls's site.

oh yeah chuck, i might be wrong too.. but the eagle head wasn't made to be a bottle opener I think.. arguably it can be used as such but it woudl wear it down. I sold a few 'eaglehead' knives that had separate bottle cap openers where the 'kick' should be.
