It is the oils that cause the reaction so if one uses a saw it can throw oil and oil soaked saw dust, when said dust hit me I had blisters on blisters. If you think you have been exposed wash as soon as you can, then wash the towel you dried off with and your clothes. If you didn't know you were exposed, until the blisters form wash bedding and bath towels so that you don't reexpose yourself to the oils. Keep affected area clean and dry, hydrogen proxcide has worked well for me. If it is bad enough an md can (mine will) prescribe steroids, either topical, oral or injectable. With meds mine usually clears up in about 7- 10 days.
