"poison" sebenza inbound

I had one of those but returned it. Very oddly, it did not have the usual third inlay on the clip side.

Did the clip side still have the two tone bead blast finish along with the polished blade ? Could it be that the knife was cobbled together and the presentaion scale was from a different knife ?

IIRC, the clip side was all blasted, and it had the Orvis logo where the inlay would/should have been.

No chance at all it was cobbled together - it came direct from Orvis (and went back to them).
 
Ah, if it had an engraving then it must have been from a custom order. :)

Yes, they were sold as an Orvis limited.

I seem to recall Tamboti inlays being used on regular Sebenzas - so other than the Orvis logo I'm not sure what was "limited" about that knife. (I'm not bashing Orvis at all, by the way.)
