Polar Bears, Beluga whales and Arctic Fox

That was a really cool post. Thanks for showing us interesting stuff, I gotta say though probably polar bears would've been the only thing that could have kept mr from getting closer to that ship!

Ya man, it was pretty hard. But they really don't mess around up there and the bears have been in the area for a few days.
We were supposed to have a guy take us out with a gun but he got called into work. Like I said, I was already pushing it! But that ship was just begging to be explored, just like everything out there. Not sure if you can tell by the pic but Ithaca is huge-about 80 meters long(Big to a prairie boy!)
 
Wow, your friend lived to tell quite the tale. Seems like an interesting guy, I'm glad he's okay. My family is from the east coast, another beautiful part of Canada. Thanks for sharing, it's a good reminder to always have a healthy respect for the outdoors when you are not at the top of the food chain.
