Polarbear forge Grinder in a box build

Very well done my friend. Looks like you took your time and thought it through. That tank looks like a good option for a forge as well.

Hi James, I was at the Dela Wood Workers Guild mtg last night; awesome presentation! Hoping for a road trip to check out the shop... tony

That is one of the nicest and interesting builds I have seen. The paint looks just like the finish on some of my dad's old industrial equipment. It looks very professional and well built. The only problem is that it is too pretty to use! larry

It will be a dirty pig in no time, I will have to wipe it down just to read all those labels I put on it! Thanks for the comments>>>>JK

Wow, that's the best looking GIB I've ever seen.

I have a GIB I need to put together, but I doubt that it will come out that nice.

GEBC, I'm building a GIB now. Where did you source the locking levers and the tension arm? Is that a 40lb arm?

Thanks

The quick release levers are from Grizzly, parts G7323 & G7328, The gas shock which will outperform any steel spring solution is from McMaster-Carr. The 40 pound strut is # 9416k11 @ $10.50. You will also need eyelets and bases also available from McMaster.
