Police Customizing....please help

I'm about to purchase a new spyderco police thats fully serrated and I want to do some customizing on it..

I was recently at a gun and knife show and a man there had a Police Serrated that had some amazng custom work done on it..I instantly feel in love with the idea. The gentleman had some type of grooves on the spine of the blade and I was wondering if anyone else had done something similar. If so can any of you give me some ideas on where i can get these done modifications done..Pictures would help alot!

There is a fella with the username STR that does some really sweet mods for some of the Spyderco forum members...you might try a search for his posts.
 
apache tom--I can personally vouch for the fine work done by STR. He frequently posts on the Toolshed sub-forum here, and he has a long thread over on the Gadgets for Sale by Individuals sub-forum, entitled "Custom Low Rider Pocket Clips."

He has "waved" my Police and added a low rider clip to it. The wave only works if the knife is modified for tip-up carry. On my Police, the tip-up mod was done by a guy named Chase Axin, of Chax Knives.

I am sure STR can do the work you describe, and much more, if you want.

Here is my little honey, after STR got through with it. Waves into pikal like lightning.

that would be nasty with a serrated edge :D
 
I also recommend STR. He put a tip up clip on my Military and he not only did a great job but is a gentleman to deal with.
