Polished? Coarse?

with 4 degree angles do you have problems with them dulling faster on certain materials?
Is dulling less of an issue to you?

My thin edges tend to dull slower, not faster, for the reason that Cliff mentioned. Also, the cutting efficiency with thin edges is such that even as it blunts, it still outcuts thick edges in a big way, depending upon what you are cutting, of course.
 
Yes, Swaim was the first person I noted to discuss this quantitatively on the internet and expose the myth of better edge retention with more obtuse angles.
