polishing out milling marks

I use ats 34 stainless for my knives would like to know if anyone has some suggestions for taking out the final fine milling or sanding lines thanks
 
Yup. Start with probably 120 then 220, 400, 600, etc. That about covers it.
 
You actually have to pick up the sandpaper, you can't just lay the knife on it overnight :D

o crap thats where i went wrong.

That reminds me of when i was teaching the bosses son to make a knife. i was explaining to him how to make it hard (heat treating). and he asks me, "so that means i cant just slip the blade between the center fold of a play boy and leave it there over night" I had a good laugh at that one.
