Hey guys finally got a bench grinder and some polishing wheels. I got a set of 3 wheels and 4 different rouges. And I'm not quite sure in which progression to use them and which rouge on which wheel. Looking for some help or recommendations.

I have a sisal wheel,a denim spiral wheel, and a cushion sewn wheel.

The rouges I have are white, brown, black, and yellow.

The bench grinder I have is just a 1/3 craftsman bench grinder 6 " disc with 1/2 arbor . I took the stone wheels off and was planning to use it for polishing. How well do you think this set up will work?

It will throw things across the shop about as fast as any of them. Seriously, small grinders work for buffing, but bog down easy and working on side the knife you have to take care not to run into the motor or the other wheel and while focusing on that don't mess up and hook into the one your using. Take care, only puff the bottom portion of the side you are working, watch the tip.

I have tried several buffing set ups, felt wheel, spiral etc. best thing is more sanding and then a little buffing.
