Political Forum Rules

"If you don't like the appearance, don't participate."

"To find a moderator willing to stay with the PA, you need someone interested enough to participate. Live with it."

Live with it??

It was just a suggestion.

It could be said YOUR tone/reply to my honest assessment and suggestion is related to what board members are actually talking about here.

If you can get tone out of printed words on a monitor, I don't know what to tell you. The words are a catchphrase, not a smackdown.

Wit all respect Esav, Mods do it all the time. ;) And if posts were reversed it would be called sassing a Mod.

Sometimes it's best NOT to dangle your hands and feet in the water fella's.

That's BS. Discussing moderation in a reasoned manner is never a problem. Bitching for the sake of bitching is not the same thing. Quite frankly the Political forum generates no end of issues for us and is probably the most controversial discussion area on the site. I posted years ago that I was sick of people being unable & unwilling to be civil to each other, and even restricted it to paid members so that they'd understand that there was an actual price to pay for being a jerk. Apparently that still hasn't worked.

Rules lawyers, concern trolls, and people trying to be edgy do nothing for me but waste my time. I don't participate in the political forum, so you guys *really* don't want me coming in there issuing smackdowns for poor behavior.
