I looked at the picture - without any caption from him - it's just a picture. Plenty of pictures of swastikas in history books and sites all over the internet as well. It doesn't mean he is a Nazi himself. Also it wasn't even posted here - so you are going to look at everyone's facebook,or mypage or whateverpages and be dicks to them if you see something you don't like?
I stand by the asshats comment. Leave the guy alone he's done nothing to you. The picture was so ridiculous it looked like he posted it as a joke or as in "look at this" WTF isn't it crazy ? The point is you DONT know and are being dicks, period.
I'm not a nazi and am glad my grandfather helped kill them in WW2, but you have no idea why he posted that pic and are acting like aasshats to somebody you've never met based on a cursory look at a facebook page.

I was a gang member for almost 10 years after coming home from the Army. I'm white. Any white gang will use "supremacist" imagery regardless of the beliefs of the membership. I myself had some cleverly hidden lightening bolt tattoos on my wrist. After I got sober, I had them covered over. Why did I chose that lifestyle? The dope was good.

So please explain to me what exactly is wrong with a white person being proud ? Seriously, what is the issue ?
It seems you might be racist if you don't like white people being proud. Do you dislike when black people are proud ? What about proud Chinese ?
Now I'm confused.
What about a proud Jewish person ? Is that OK with you ?

Be proud of accomplishments. Not circumstance of birth.

I'm proud of earning my Combat Infantry Badge... which is why it's in my signature line. I'm not proud to be an American, I'm blessed to be an American.

There is to much wrong with your post i would respond but the thread would get locked. If you are serious my advice is to seek help, like the mental kind.

It's a free country, be proud of whatever you want.
It's been my experience that the only people who declare themselves "100% white and proud" are racists. It's called coded language. If you put it on the internet, folks will judge it.

Is this thread about whether sick boy is racist or about whether we should be discussing it or about where we should be discussing it, or if sick boy needs to buy a different level of membership to sell knives here, or...........

I'm confused, too.

No, there is nothing wrong with my post. You have the mental issues in that you see a problem with a person being proud. The hippocrites like you are the real problem, if Esay Benjamin posted he was proud of being Jewish on his facebook page would you feel the need to talk about it in a negative way ? Then shut yer yap you bloody hippocrite. Anyone has the right o be proud, whatever their ethnicity and without being singled out and picked on because of it. That is actually racist !! Goes right over you head tho.... It must be the mental illness you have.

Sorry you lose. When you pair white pride with a swastika I'm pretty clear on where you stand. If someone tells you they're an a-hole believe them, I don't need them to prove it.

Wow this has gotten way out of control. I never intended for any of this to happen. I am sorry for the fact that people have taking my facebook pictures out of context. Im not racist nor do i condone it and also im not ducking responsibility for my actions. The Confederate flag was posted due to the flag controversy that happened in the recent past. I did not agree with people wanting it banned i do not think its right to ban something that is part of our history and freedom. Furthermore pictures that get posted all over face book regardless of original poster or what they initially stand for have many different meanings to many different people. To me the fist saying 100% white and 100% proud means that i like who i am an im proud of it nothing more. Which i already stated this in a previous reply. I never thought that it would come to this. People are to judgmental when it comes to racial views which is understandable. But again I'm not racist or a nazi by any means.

Hey, I give you credit for coming here and confronting it head on. From my point of view, this last post you pretty much took responsibility for things. That was my #1 concern going in.

You're always going to have people that are looking for a cause to get worked up about. My advice would be to take this as a lesson and avoid posting things that are offensive to so many people on the same site where you're promoting your business. Even if it's just to comment on something you don't believe in, like you're saying is the case with the swastika. I run my own business and run a couple of youth programs in a volunteer capacity. There are a lot of things I'd like to post on Facebook, but I always stop beforehand and think about what my customers and the parents of the kids I'm responsible for would think. You have the right to believe whatever you want, but being an adult means that you have to take the good with the bad. Many times that means you have to avoid advertising your beliefs in the same space you advertise your business. I would either avoid posting that stuff on Facebook or move your business advertising to a separate site.

I wish you nothing but the best going forward. I really do hope that you learn and grow from this experience. Maybe you'll even decide to stick around here. It really is a great community. Just like you don't want people judging you based on a couple of out of context pictures, don't judge this community based on a couple of comments from a couple of people.

Taking the stuff down is good, but the fact that it was there to be taken down says all I need to know. Anyone who would take the affirmative steps necessary to post a photo on his FB page that includes a swastika is someone who deserves all the opprobrium sent his way. Some things won't be unseen. I hope you never post here again.
 
This thread no longer serves any purpose but to stir up trouble. Sick_boy_knife_works has explained his point of view without an aggressive attitude. Some others focused on the emotional overtones of symbols raised here. He did not.

You're all entitled to your own opinions, but we aren't going to repeat what has already been addressed, especially in deliberately insulting language.
