Well for me, what makes the Classic a nicer looking knife is based on a couple things;
Sharper more direct point, just a no nonsense line there to me
The profile of the handle also just says no nonsense as well, very efficent looking and for my point of view, the guard area is just more secure looking in it's function.

Which are a couple reasons I'm guessing that it was so much in favour that Chris Reeve decided to heed the masses and make a come back? and I'm so glad he did it also in a wood inlay!!!
Now just make a nice small modified wharncliff and I'm set !
