Current Press-Fit Tubes work for me. It is part of Busse design and functionality as well.
 
image.jpg I can't have two choices? It's a toss up for me between solid pins and old school slotted Crosby bolts. Pins for aesthetics, slotted bolts for nostalgia. The difference in shear strength is not an issue. Properly installed, I've never had any loosen up. I have bent and sheared off a tube or two. But they're simple enough to replace. And I do love the look of copper tubes in black micarta.

Maybe I need three choices...
