Poll: Double cut vs. Satin.

Satin!!!
Beautiful, shiney and shows less wear than DC.
I LOVES me some satin INFI!!

Satin. It helps to prevent rust while double cut ,in my experience, favors rust. Double Cut looks great and I have it on a couple of my safe queens but I wouldn't want it on a user. YMMV

satin, It is easier to clean, you can touch up a polish easier than a double cut blade. I have a use for bead blasted metal but it's for the outside of gun barrels not knives..

Satin, cause it's purdy.

But, it does clean pretty well.

Is ghetto satin an option? Cause I vote for that too :D

Coated....but if it were only between Satin and DC......

Satin all day!!

DC seems to hold moisture and "discolor" or rust. Satin equals easy clean up. Though I do prefer my blades non shiny.

I don't see the poll.
But if I did, I'd choose satin. I've really come to hate DC (or BB as most others call it.) It sucks monkey testicles.

Double cut, maybe just me but the busse satin finish just looks like the same satin finish I've been seeing on factory knives for years now, the doublecut bead blast on the other hand is a beautiful smooth bead blast that you just don't see that often outside of custom folders.

Satin. My DC experience (limited) shows DC to love rust. My BWM got pretty rusty overnight in the mashed cat with just some dew exposure after chopping. It cleaned up pretty good though. I will be satining that sucker when the skills improve.

I like satin for the looks, and that's all I can say since I have neither.

Is it possible to take an abrasive to DC and turn it into satin?
