Poll: Double cut vs. Satin.

dcbb requires re-bead blasting to clean up. Satin you can clean with steel wool or sand paper.

And ... here are the facts.

I love the look of DCBB, but it's so tough to maintain.

Here are the two on the same blade. If I had to choose only one, I'd go with satin over DC.

I love the dcbb. I once had an old school sfno with a dcbb finish a tiger mag handles. Had the same conversion sfno but with a satin blade. I loved the dcbb more. Never had problems with rust. And I used them both alot and hard. Shall see if I can find some pictures of it.

the other benefit of dc (especially if you have a beadblaster at home) is that it's less reflective. So if you intend on using it in a circumstance where reflection is bad but don't want it to be coated, it can help.
