Well all women I know have always been telling me that size dosn't matter! ;) :( ;) :( ;) :( ;) :D

Anyway where I live the legal size (for a knife, that is) is 2.75". I usually carry a SAK or a Spyder mini-dyad. (The latter is not legal even though it's less than 2.75": In Denmark one-hand opened knives are off-limits :barf: )

Hey LongRifle, that may be a local ordinance but Ohio law does not specify any length. The sky's the limit buddy!

Ohio - 2923.12. [prohibits carry and concealment of "any
deadly weapon" except for self-defense, without explicit
mention of knives].
- 2923.20 Unlawful transaction in weapons. (A) No person
shall... (3) Manufacture, possess for sale, sell, or
furnish to any other person other than a law enforcement
agency for authorized use in police work, any...
switchblade knife, springblade knife, gravity knife, or
similar weapon...

To stay on topic though... I carry a sub 3" and the folder of my choice for work and a 3.5" - 4" after hours.

The sub 3" at work is to use around people, lately my Umfaan or small Sebenza's.

The Spyderco Calypso Jr. is my edc. It's sharp, light, and has a good shape.

I alternate between my 2001 Delica and Small Sebenza for daily. Weekends I sometimes carry my Endura, but rarely do I ever need a bigger blade than the Delica for stuff around home.

I do ocassionally carry larger knives.., but probably just because I feel like it, not for any pragmatic purpose.
