Here goes,
20 Emersons
3 Elishewitz
2 Terzuola's
1 Crawford
2 Kubaseks
1 Carson
1 Clark
1 Mcgovern
10 assorted autos
and a whole bunch of other stuff such as Ccase Canoes, SAKs,Crkt,
etc etc.

Probably <70 folders. But I'm down to 5 Spydies, 3 CRKTs, 1 BM,
3 Queens, and 1 Case that I alternate carry. And the original
Leatherman tool rides on my belt every day.

I started late in life so I "pampered" myself to anything I wanted. After a while I healed up and picked
out a few favorites to keep and sold the rest, but boy was the ride fun! Those I keep / carry now are all
workers with just a very few sunday knives.

Ok, the post only asked about folders, so here's what I got so far:

SOG:

Pentagon Ellite
Air Sog (my 1st knife :))

Spyderco:

Dragonfly (zytel)
Native (zytel)
Rookie (the lock broke :()
Tim Wegner Jr.

Benchmade:

705BT
mini AFCK

Microtech:

mini SOCOM

EDI:

Genesis II

REKAT:

Pioneer I (drop point)

I think that's it for now :) but I'm still working on it - can't wait for those new Spydies to come out ... and more SOGs with Arc locks ... damn I need more money :D

I'm in the 10-20 range with some usually coming and going at any given time. I was really suprised, when I checked, that I had about a dozen fixed blades too! I would have guessed less....Hmmm.

Wait a second........I'm counting my auto's as folders too! You didn't specify what type of action. Does that count?

When someone once asked Charlton Heston how many guns he owned, he said, "More than I need, but not as many as I want".

That about sums me up! :)

BM 705BT
BM 710HS
BM 812
BM 750

I like Benchmades. Also have an opinel, SAK, and old Buck lying around. I didn't count those.

Oh I would venture to say about 45 folders and 2 fixed blades.
Been a small collector for about 4 years now. Most expensive knife purchased would be the Emerson Commander.

Grandpa Troll

-CRKT M16-13Z
-Benchmade Mini-AFCK
-Benchmade 42 (it counts!!!)
-Microtech LCC

Hey, I don't have a job, so I'm pretty limited!

74 misc. Some Case,Schrade, Camillus, some junk.
55 Buck
guy:)

Over 35 people have between 10 to 20 folders, not too bad at all, and 14 have way over 100....if I had kept all the knives I ever owned I'd easily be there or more! but I'll bet that most here would say the same thing.

And yep, basically any folding knife you have I'd consider in this poll...;)

My collection is mainly focused on tactical folders, so I have 6 microtech and three MOD:s. The rest is varied, Spyderco, SOG, Camillus etc. 50+ in total.
I have tried to make my collection broad enough, so that I can see which direction i.e. brand my focus will shift to.
I have lately become interested in old-fashioned American knives, like stockmans etc.
I think folders are much more fun to collect, because it is a mechanism, which can be opened and closed. You cannot do so much with a fixed blade, except look at it or use it.

Besides, it's more fun collecting stuff that can actually come to use.
I'm a software developer, so I spend almost all my time that I'm awake on a chair, leaving less room for survival knives etc.

I just love my Microtechs and MOD:s. If you haven't had one in your hand yet, it's time to go to your local knife dealer. These babies are rock solid.

Besides, I'm single, except for my cat, so all my money goes to ME! :)

At least 35.

Next post ought to be, "What is the value of your folder collection?"

Dean :)

Gary, your post made me do an inventory and update my list!!!!! As a BM collector, including Balis the total is 69. Additionally there's 12 other folders of various makes, plus fixed blades. No, I ain't a' gonna' list 'em all. Hope to have a web site soon with pics and descriptions. Have fun with this!! :)
