Poll: How much of a Busse fan are you?

Big fan! Have lost interest in accumulating other brands except where something else might be required to meet a specific need.

I knew there will be no picture in this thread from title. But I still click in......I think that should say a lot :D

Yeah I love Busse Knives!....:D got a few other customs here and there sprinkled in for variety....

I can sympathize with Rich Senecal except that I blame Heavy. He introduced me to the Busse line back in the summer. Since then I'm averaging at least 1 Busse family knife per month. Not bad for a runty piglet. Secretly thou, I think there was a conspiracy between my credit card company, me, and Heavy, but i still can't confirm it. In any case, I have to admit that I do prefer my Busses over the rest of my knives. So I'd say that I am about a 8/10. P.s Heavy, American Express called and they said to tell you hi.

My interest in Busse knives is decidedly two-fold. They represent the significant majority of the knives I've purchased because of their superior functional characteristics and Jerry's outstanding marketing strategy. The functional superiority of these knives is well documented, but it's the marketing that I'm most fascinated by and attracted to. It's a culture, it's an obsession and it's a hell of a smart way to run a business  Bottom line; I'm a huge fan of the product and the marketing acumen behind it!

I sold all my knives except a few folders.
My fixed knives are all Busses by now.
I know other blades I like but I just can't get myself to buy them.

I just wrote in this forum "I really love these Knives". I really do. I own NO other makers, custom or otherwise. I have sold off every "custom" made knife I have ever owned and jumped head first into BUSSE knives. I will be posting a picture of my collection during my CHRISTmas break from work to show everybody exactly just what a HOG I'm turning into. I've only been collecting since this past SEPTEMBER, so 3 months. I dont know if I've said this but...... I REALLY LOVE THESE KNIVES!!!!! MERRY CHRISTmas EVERYBODY!!!!!!:D

i started my knife collection for 4 years ago. at first i collected vintage buck knife, tree man, jim nolen, randall, strider, vintage puma´s, dalton holder, and so on..................... in this time i got my first busse BAIII.
I was infected:o

And now, i have saled all my Customs, and bought only Busse.
All my Busse´s are on my outdoortrips.

The Busse Knives are my knives:thumbup:

Merry Christmas everybody and a happy new year.

Paraphrasing ex-president Clinton, "It all depends on what you mean by fan". I love Busse knives, but own very few of them because my wallet cannot keep up with the demand. I own a lot more Rats and even one Scrap Yard. But, if I could afford it I would be giving Porkerson a run for his money! Actually, it is all his fault anyway. He pushed me down this slippery slope a few years back by selling me my first Busse family knife, my much beloved Battle Rat.

I BLAME PORKERSON!

Thanks Eric!

This is one-time I will gladly take the Blame ;)

Thanks Rich

:D:D

I'm almost 100% Busse. I own a few other knives, but not many. Now, if Busse made an INFI HAK. . . . well, I'd have one on at all times. Heck, I'd staple that bikini-sheath to my lovehandles to make sure I wore it at night. ;)

So, sadly, a Busse doesn't always fit with my dress-casual lifestyle. Even a Game Warden in a nice sheath looks a bit. . . odd in Massershootsit. If I were in some sort of "Normal" state, I could carry a Busse more often. :( But DANG my collection is growing. I'm up to. . . 10 Busse knives, plus 2 INFI-Scrappers on the way as well. EEEK!

I'll tell you this - some high volume of blades up on the XC right now. Esp. Wardens and a cheaper-than-cheap CT. After a whole week of very little on the XC. Great pre-X-mas way to build a collection - to some extent on the cheap.

I have "Busse Combat" tattooed on my right...

I'm about to sell an Italian shotgun to fund my headlong foray into the infi-world. Then again, maybe carrying a bit o debt ain't so bad.

I have about 20 Busse's now and for fixed blades they are by far my favorite. Unfortunately, I mainly edc folders so that is where my 50ish Benchmades go. I like lots of knives and don't limit myself to only one kind. Except for that sebenza I bought, its everything everyone says good about it but it really doesn't do anything for me. Which I guess is good, because I don't mind using it hard considering its a 300 dollar folder.

Ive basically been collecting Busses since may of 2005 when I joined this forum. Since then Ive bought a couple Benchmades and a couple of Striders. Ive pretty much gotten all the past Busse models Ive wanted to get and now Im just keeping up with the new ones. There are two older Busses Id like but I can wait on them. Ill just say Im very happy with the current status of my collection.

I only have/use Busse.

So far I had some knives from other brands, but sold all of them. At the moment only looking for a nice folder, but still waiting when the Busse folder will come . . . . Hmmm that will probably take 2 weeks in Busse time:grumpy:

So count me in as a BIG Busse fan:cool:

Busse knives? I don't own any but they do look cool. I might have to pic one up and try it.

With a little imagination, it wouldn't be so hard to do.
(hijacking my own thread here.)
I'm sure an Ass. shaker, Skel. Key or Game Warden could easily be modified to fit your needs.
