Now, I know some people hate inserts in their balis, but I happen to like em. Pick the option that best suits you and post what type of wood, or what color micarta, etc. If you chose other, please tell what it is in a post.

I like Snakewood because it just looks so cool. My dream bali would have Snakewood inserts, mirror polished bolsters, and a classic mirror polished bowie blade (not like the 43, I like it with more belly). Of course that would just go on display, because if I ever got the money for one I sure as hell wouldn't want to depreciate it's value (and beauty) by flipping it..

I'm a carbon fiber freak. It's awesomely tuff stuff. It's irredescent and reflects light beautifully. It's impervious to damned near everything.
I want a friggin' Tachyon with a combo black satin/stonewash Nemesis blade and carbon fiber inserts. With tritium vials ANYWHERE on it.

Mike Turber, have MT make a limited run of Luminous Tachyon Tacticals and they will sell. Price it in the stratosphere and it will still sell. Make only one....and I will buy it.

Carbon Fiber all the way! Mabye some of the colored stuff like red that the german knife company Klotzi uses. I love the depth of carbon fiber.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with some of the others on this.

As much as I hate inserts on my Balis, I would love to have one with carbon fibre. I'm thinking, polished Brass and Carbon fibre would be a cool look.

I prefer smooth bone myself but believe black lip pearl would be gorgeous. I would almost be afraid to use it for fear of damaging it, but would like great with the rest of balis.
