I know what you are thinking, there are tons of threads discussing the pros and cons of each. But I was curious, what do you guys actually do? I'm interested in seeing the actual percentages of how people carry their XMs. So feel free to discuss, but please vote also. How do you actually carry your XMs most often?

Tip down---I don't take up pocket space with knives that have clips on them, and without the side of a pocket to hold it closed, IWB tip-up carry is just asking for a horrific result. My pockets are for keys, smaller (no clip) knives, and guns. :)

Tip up. It presses the spine of the blade against the back edge of the pocket so there is no chance of it opening up in there. It's also a more natural draw for me.

Tip up. Just what I'm use to. My first knife with a clip was my Delica 3 I got back in '96 or so and it was only tip up. Carried that for years, and still have it. Guess if it had been tip down that might be how I carried now. I guess you can say I carry it how Sal wanted me to.

Tip up for me. I'd use tip up even without a lanyard for quicker deployment. My lanyard, which with tip up hangs from near the very top of my pocket, makes it easy to to grab the knife... even with gloves on.

Well, I vote for a new idiot politician every year, so I guess I can keep voting on this. lol Tip up! As I've said previously, those who carry tip down are causing global climate change, killing polar bears and creating utter social dysfunction.

Tip down...can't stand the flipper taking up pocket space in the bottom of my pocket, it digs into my hand if I need to get my change.

I carry my Hinderers tip up...although tip down doesn't bother me either. I carry my PM2 and my Millie tip down...I'm flexible and prefer a choice. Clear as muddy water...

One of the worst knife cuts I got was from a partially deployed tip (Not a Hinderer) up while sliding my hand into my pocket :D Tip down for me :D
