Right now, I'm working my Native back into shape...it got some sand in the works, and got dulled up(my bro borrowed it w/o askin', and i found it all dull...dang). just about sharp enough for useful carry, just working out the sand...then, i will start carrying it again...
I can't believe nobody has mentioned the Michael Walker Lt/Wt. It's been my every day carry knife for almost three years, and it's a perfect little one-hand knife. The only thing I've changed is that I had a serrated one that I gave to a friend when I got the plain edge. I've handled just about every knife that Spyderco makes and I understand why each one of you likes the knives you've mentioned. What I don't understand is why the Walker isn't more popular, and is now discontinued?
Like StevieK I live in the UK where eyebrows seem to gaet raised very high whenever a knife is produced.
I use my Calypso Jnr Ltwt everyday for some chore or another be it letter opening, apple peeling, box cutting or whittling. But surely this is the sign of a useful knife, one that is used niot just looked at. BTW I have yet to sharpen it, 3 months after getting it and it is still sharper than any of my other knives!!
