Polo shirts

Gentlemen, the USCAV vest Seth pointed out, I bought for my mom. I have the jacket version and both are Khaki made in China by Texsport and S.E.I. Bottom line is that they are slightly darker than the US Cav catalog.

Quite honestly, the zippers and back pocket are the strongest assets of each. There's also a hidden hood at the collar which can be a bear to fold back in. The inside pockets aren't that strong either and as a whole, these are back up pieces and beaters.

I've used the rear pocket to hold a map, you can easily hold any 8"x 11" paper in it though the velcro is 1"x1". It's rather flimsy against strong rain or wind so you'd better really stitch that patch strongly. The vest is flimsier and has thinner pockets, so I feel the jacket is the better buy.

Don, I have a great vest, light weight and great looking OD-ish color. (I used to wear a Khaki "Banana Republic" Vest, but it's was so damn heavy!) A buddy of mine picked up an "S" load of them in a mess of colors, including Black. I think he sold most or all of them at a pretty decent price. I'll forward this string to him in case he has any left or can get any more.

What is on the inside label John?

Nice pics too, thanks. :D

If we could all get together and design a vest to our specs for pockets and closures...materials, how it is tacked and stitched, it would ROCK!

Unfortunately, that is not the case...

(Could have those Mini-Brass Weights sewn into the gun side so the vest flips back better :D)
