So how many times can you use the warranty for a particular knife or provided replacement before they decide you're doing something wrong and cut you off?

depends. if they obviously can see you abused it, none potentially.

if you're constantly breaking one, they'll want to know why. throwing for instance, is not allowed. neither are hammers, rocks, metal grinders, drilling, tapping, welding, changing the heat treat, otherwise modifying the blade so much you change its character or changing out the grips

Well done to Ka-bar! Missed the thread referenced, but Ka-bar's CS has always been tops in my mind, and I'm glad to see that hasn't changed. Been disappointed by a few companies, but Ka-bar never lets us down!
