Here is a another one that I just completed. Fittings are nickel silver. An exceptional cut of Sambar stag that is good for right or left hand with great texture and popcorn look. Not a little handle. When skinning a critter and your hand gets wet you will not lose your grip with this one. Carved butt cap. Well balanced. I made the Ladder pattern Damascus out of 1080 and 15n20 steel. Blade length is 3 5/8 inches and overall length is 8 inches. Comes with sheath.
Knife is "SOLD" and 7.00 for priority mail in USA address . My paypal is dangraves4923@earthlink.net Thanks and enjoy the photo's.

Don,t say Damascus when paying by paypal as homeland security will put a hold on it.

What a fantastic knife. That stag is stellar. I should have jumped on it, rather the slept, and tried to justify it....

Wow, and I usually don't like stag! This one is textured for my pleasure. ;)

This looks so great. I don't know why stag like this is not used more often? Is it rare? Is it just nonadventurous knife makers thinking customers won't like it?

I have to ask though, did you come up with that term, "popcorn stag?" That is a really great description.

The term popcorn has been around for a long time. This is a rare cut and you just don't see them like this. Knife makers would use it a lot if it were available. I got lucky and found this one years ago and have been hoarding it. I have more.
