Thanks thawk. I appreciate it. Just thought you guys would get a kick out of these. I got a whole bunch of popular mechanics mags delivered for under $10.00 total. thought they would be nice to take pics of with a knife on top of or something. If you click on them you can see them better. If you cant read one for some reason let me know. While looking for schrade ads I found the one at the top on the right and it had a story about collecting knives and a schrade loveless came in to play. let me know what you think. I thought for under $10.00 how do you go wrong. and looking at popular mech books from 75-76 was for one thing hillarious, it made it worth it just to look at thoes old adds and stuff.
 
How many of you guys were able to read in 1975-76. I was born in 1978, so if you guys remember these that makes you guys... HOW OLD! just kidding -Joel
 
In 1975 I was a Junior in college, after serving 3-1/2 years in the Marine Corps, (and a little trip to SE Asia). Also my first daughter was born in 1975.
I was doing a lot of reading then, but didn't have much time for light reading, mostly college text books. :D

Nice ads Joel. Thanks for sharing them.

HA!! i wasnt born till 1979, so i missed these all together. i do remember some of the adds in the 80's though.

hi, because of this thread went on ebay found ,bid and won 10 po.mechanic from 71,it will be great to read these things and if i run across any old knife adds ill post them,cant beat 2 dollars +shipping,to see all high tech things from that era.thanks.
