Popularity Ranking

I'm curious now to know what the all time Buck best sellers are. Not what our favorite knives are but what are Bucks best selling knives and most popular. I would have to think the 110 and 119 would be on the list but what about some of the less expensive knives that out sell the $50 and up knives 10 to one?

:D Actually, that was what I thought the OP was asking, but all the responses were personal preference?

I hear ya edges-me too, cant find the happy medium of good shape and good price-always way too expensive for me or not in good enough shape to be worth having.:(

I have found that the 317s seem to hold there inflated value better thn most. I don't know why this is, mabey because they were so popular with bikers and before the 110 became the thing to have. The 317 came with a leather sheath and it is a nasty looking knife when the blade is out. I have two of them, one is a plain 317 in a sheath and the other is the pad stamped combine limited run they came out with(very hard to find and costly)

That is what I originally had intended in my first post.

What are / were the most popular bucks, not what is 'your favorite'. I wasnt too clear though haha. Looks like most just listed thier favorites :D

I sort of gathered that's what you were looking for. But, unless someone can contribute actual sales data over the years, it'd be difficult (I'd think) for most of us to actually know (objectively) what the true, most popular models have been. Otherwise, I think for most of us, it's inevitably going to be influenced by personal preference.

I still think it's interesting to hear the feedback from the fans here, though. I think, if you hang around long enough, you'll begin to see some common preferences.

Yep. I've seen quite a lot of them go for big $$ on the 'bay. Especially if they were in good/excellent shape, with sheath, box & papers. The price was always a bit too rich for me at the time. Scared me off.

As with other knives that I've waited a long time for, I'll either get lucky one day and find a good deal on one, or I'll just cave in and bite the bullet. I've already figured out that I really like the 300 series knives, and love the way their blades sharpen up. So, it won't seem like such a gamble if/when I decide to pony up. I know I'll be buying a keeper...
