Very cool. It's amazing what one can do when using a little enginuity.

I have the SWAG table and need to mount a switch to it. Right now its just starts running when I plug it in.

Thanks. Yea the swag table is good. I wanted one before I did this.

Having to plug and unplug got annoying. The switch is nice.

This is slick................. and a lot cheaper (if you have an old drill press laying around ) than a SWAG which is also slick.

Good job

Harbor freight offers a cheap Foot switch that works great for the Band Saw Mods

SWAG actually sells the same foot switch for $20 with the stand. It's pretty slick. I didn't get it and now I'm stuck paying $22 plus shipping and, well, I'm just stubborn for now. I'll probably go to Lowes and get some parts for a switch and make something.

This is the Harbor Freight foot switch if you have one in your area...

You can just buy a switch that goes on the Portaband Cord for super cheap at any hardware store.
