Portable band saw problems

I have a Jet vertical/horizontal band saw. It cuts Slow, Slow, Slow.
I got a Portaband with a swag table. It cuts way way faster even on slow speed.
Having said that, I use dull worn out 36 grit belts to profile my blades. I can profile a blade by grinding faster than I can by using a band saw
 
She cuts I profile, usually at the same time:

Besides the AEB-L blades she cut she did these too. High carbon damascus, 26C3, A2 and one Damasteel blade. She's got three A2 blades yet to cut. Got her out tractoring right now, got keep em busy.
