I prefer the EZ Lap Eze-Fold over the DMT Dia-Folds. I do not like the perforated surface of the Dia-Folds for finish work. I use a combination Medium/Super-Fine. The medium would restore a badly damaged edge or greatly speed up lighter work. The super-fine leaves a good finished edge. I've always liked EZ-Lap stones, although I use the DMT's now. Just out of curiosity, will the EZ-Lap Eze-Fold stones fit the DMT Magna-Guide magnetic holder?

I'm with the others on the diafolds:thumbup:. I carry a X-Coarse/Coarse and Fine/X-Fine in my hiking pack. I also carry a KSF field-strop coated with BRKT black and green compound and cut-to-size wet&dry specifically for my convex knives.
