Portable Sharpening system

I backpack alot and want a way to keep my knives sharp while away from the house. Would it be better to carry a small stone or get a diamond file?

Can anybody recommend a lightweight, packable tool ?
 
I've had great results with Gatco's ceramic Tri-seps sharpener. It's a very fine surface and not for heavy sharpening, but it's great for touch ups. It's very small and has a chain lanyard for attaching it to whatever.

I'll probably end up picking up another one as the camping/hiking season nears just to keep in my pack.
