Portland, OR. Newbie pocket dump...

It's nice seeing people carrying quality blades. The best stuff I typically see in the wild are Griptilians and Delicas. Those are legitimately great choices, but it is very cool seeing some other stuff mixed in. Even among less expensive blades, the better choices are rarely represented. Saw a Rat 2 the other day and almost hugged the guy.

Do some of you carry a purse or something? I know all of that doesn't fit in your pockets.

My EDC:
Spyderco Schempp Tuff
Walther PPQ M1 9mm in a JM custom Kydex IWB
Wallet
Keys
Cell Phone
Sometimes a Zebralight H600 mkii light

I wear 5.11 Stryke pants to work every day. They look considerably less tactical than they sound, and give me cargo pockets and slash pockets on the front of each thigh, so my stuff easily goes into pockets. In fact, I don't use my back pockets at all. If I wear jeans on my days off, I drop the bigger light and my USB charger + cable, and the rest is still easily pocketable. That said, I rarely wear jeans. The Stryke pants are amazingly comfortable and convenient. There is even a 5.11 store on Barbur Blvd. the Tac Lite pants look over the top, but these are very vanilla looking.

Edited to add: used to have a PPQ M1. Easily my favorite pistol on the market. It was a hair too much for me to conceal, and mags were impossible to find when I traded it out. Even the Magnum Research branded mags were dried up at the time. Such a sweet shooter... /sigh

Everything shown rides in my pants everyday (typically jeans or hiking style pants) with the exception of spare magazine. Keys ride on belt loop and magazine either jacket pocket or in my vehicle. Almost always have a small fixed blade, as well as a small folder for utility.

Glad to hear of another ppq fan. I carry the 4" 9mm version in a kydex iwb. I used to carry a xds (single stack 9mm). Just got sick of the low capacity. I'm 5'10" and 135 lbs. obviously can't wear tight t-shirts, but with a button up, or looser t-shirt, the printing is really minimal and nobody has ever said anything to me. But I do live in an area where lots of people carry. Over the years, I've figured out its all in having a good holster.

And the cargo pants make sense. I wear jeans everywhere, so with some of these pocket dumps, I question if they're real or just people just showing what they carry maybe once a year. But if you wear cargo pants, it's definitely do-able. If I wore cargo pants around here, it'd be out of place.

From Pittsburgh, I like knives made in Titusville, PA and always have a great time in Oregon...beautiful state you guys have there.

I was thinking the same thing. I pretty much max out the pockets in my jeans and don't have room to fit in even a relatively compact handgun.

OP did mention pocket dump, but asked about EDC. If I get to count all the stuff I carry in the front pocket of my lunchbox you would be amazed what a pocket dump could include (and I consider this EDC stuff since my my lunchbox goes eveywhere I do during the week).

My last post was from a day-hike. Here is my standard pocket dump (G-26 and mag are IWB). The cash is just for thrift shops and garage sales and what not. I also have a cell phone and keys. It all fits in Levi's 505 jeans.

Leatherman Juice S2 and BM... Two local products. Very nice! Love the Juice S2. I keep one in my EDC bag.

You all make prettier pocket dumps than I do. It's hard to make this much stuff look artistic.

If you tried to hug me for carrying a Rat1 in my left pocket I might stab you with the Lansky Responder in my right...

Well, that escalated quickly. I'm surprised, though. I'd have assumed you'd come at me with Liquid Swordz.

I have no idea what that means, was more trying to put the Responder out there (great knife) but get a sense of humor anyway, it will make life easier. Unless your dry humor just isnt working, then rock on!

You have that name and missed my friendly nod with the Liquid Swordz reference?! Oh, sir! If you don't know the album and are a Wu fan, you've missed out!

Havent followed the clan in years(since that awful videogame in fact, lost all respect), my bad. Hardly anyone even gets the reference anymore.

It was Gza's first solo album, '95 or so. One of the best out of the collective, IMO. Maybe the best. Added bonus of a blade-y name. Agreed, though. Haven't followed newer releases in awhile.

In blade related matters... I may get my first BM later this week, just to support them and KSF. Well... That's my rationalization, anyway.

Knife related just got a san ren mu 7010 luc-sa and cant beleive what a good knife it is for the money, or how tiny it is. Just a lil bigger over all than the BLADE on my Rat 1.
