Portland Oregon Area Hammer In!

Hey chuck if you needs some help with your pad let me know I have done some flat work in the past. I will be back from Jerry McClures place Thursday then I will come pick up that wrought iron.
 
Looks like we need a Pour-In at Chuck's! Chuck, looks like Brett and I can help, Greg told me yesterday he'd come help too!

That'll set us up for a Hammer-In with more people!
 
Sounds Good. I will have to get things lined out. It will have to be after the first of Sept though. Not enough time to get it done before then.

Brett I have a mini show this weekend 5th and 6th, so early next week will work if you are available. If not I have a lot of the wrought and will save you a big wheel.
 
Anything new on this? I'm a few hours north up in Bothell, but I would love to attend. I wouldn't have a lot to offer telent wise, but I can wash a truck. Youth football starts this Tuesday and I'm still finishing the defensive playbook, but if it's in September I might be able to swing it.

Yeah, it looks like September... Several people couldn't make it for next Saturday. So there wasn't enough. In the meanwhile I'll help Chuck pour a new pad in front of his shop so we can expand the amount of people who can come. Anybody who wants to participate, e-mail me at plumber.bda@gmail.com I'll start a list of people to inform as we move forward. My "hope" is that we could do these every few months or so? I'd like to pick a date soon so people can plan ahead.
Any thoughts on good dates anyone?
Any knife show weekends we have to avoid?
 
Possible date to avoid...October 1st and 2nd is the Northwest Knife Collectors Show in Kelso, Wa.

there is going to be a abs demo and open forging area at the NWBA shin dig at goverment camp near mount hood OR. the weekend of Aug. 20 it will be thurs fri sat and half day sun if anyone is interested.

I wish I could make that hammer inn. I have been wanting to do a NWBA for a while. Had an opportunity when they held it down in nor cal but I was in the middle of a move. Oh well maybe next year again.
