POS knives...own up

I have owned a couple of POS. Two India made Buck copies (with a 2.5 inch blade), and a Rambo/survival knife.

The India made bucks could never hold a edge, but then I was a little kid and didn't care, I was just happy to have a knife.

The Rambo knife was a lark. I mainly wanted to see just how stong these clones were. Well, I found out pretty quick- on the third swing at a tree limb, the blade seperated from the handle at the gaurd. I kept the blade and laugh every time I see it.

Boker Smatchet. At least the standard version appears to have a stamped blade, like those of mass-produced pocket and kitchen knives. Toylike polycarbonate handles and aluminum rivets.

Two Victorinox Swiss Army knives manufactured in the late 1980s. The small screwdrivers are very soft and easily marred. Liners get bent out of shape after the corkscrew has been used a few times.

Chinese lockblade thrown in with the purchase of a Puma skinner. Soft plastic thumb stud and handles, "stainless" blade which rusts easily.
