Hello All

I just completed a transaction with Bill Siegle for my first custom knife and wanted to report on my most pleasant experience.

First off, I got Bill's name from these forums (thank you fellas for all the info) and from what I heard he was pretty good knife maker and a stand-up guy. Well both these are most definitely true. I placed an order with Bill for the Red & Black Japanese Dagger that was pictured on his website (http://www.geocities.com/siegleknives/)

Bill indicated that the knife would take about 6 months and after we established a price, he accepted my order. It didn't take Bill the six months, he managed to finish early and I now have a very nice (very sharp) double bladed Japanese Dagger in my hands.

The blade is top notch (I may post pix if people ask), has a huge 7" blade and is very aggressive. There was a custom Kydex sheath (w/a Tec-Lok attachment) included in the price. Everything was well made and this transaction was painless.

I am very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend Bill to anyone looking for a custom knife maker. If you are in the market, please check Bill out you will not be disappointed :D

Best Regards

I too had the pleasure of dealing with Bill for the first time recently. Wonderful fellow to deal with and exhibits all the traits of a true gentleman. Hopefully we will be able to do business again soon.

I've had cutlery he's made, and cutlery he's just worked on, and have yet to be anything less than impressed with his work and the man himself. Great guy to deal with and great bladesmith. :)

I agree. I have two of his large camp knives and think highly of them and him.

Bill's the man. I've never heard a bad word about him, and have had great dealing with him.
