Positive Thoughts Please.

If you get a chance flute music always does it for me . A nice cool stream or even in the bath . It kinda takes my cares away in a way that shows me they are not really important or at least puts them in perspective for me .

No matter what we,ll be here for you until you get back .

Smoke and best wishes. I'll have to have my own right eye done soon. Been putting it off. Good luck for a smooth and easy procedure and a quick recovery.

Thanks Gang. Actually I've been looking forward to this for a year now, since I had my left one done.
Then the back surgery got in the way with all its cancellations until it was done and then my heart Dr. wanted me to wait until he did the cardioversion but he hasn't set me a date, besides I don't have to go off the coumadin to have the eye surgery so all is well.
In about three weeks I should be seeing very well again.  :D ;)

Yvsa, old friend, edutsi, I just saw your portrait in my dream book labeled Agowadvdi.
My wife and one brother have gone through it and both are pleased with the result. I see me undergoing it in the future if diabetes don't get me first. All I got to say is theyre going to have to shoot me up with "don't give a s*** juice" first. Valium does nothing for me but after the first angiogram the changed to something else that did work.

Hey, there's some good news - my kevlar gloves got here today. They're less than usless with power tools but maybe they will keep me from sticking the chisels in my hand.

Worst case scenario: you'll be wearing an eyepatch, and your street cred in the Cove will be impeccable. ;)

I'll send some smoke your way.

Yvsa, you have all my best wishes. It will be great when it's done. Smoke and prayers from Iowa, friend.

Chris

I visit doctor who corrected my eyes so I see clearly. Like snake whose scales fall from eyes. Open, pinch, and darkness. Soon light, movement, colors.

Doctor soft hand, lifted me. Home for rest. God receives thanks.

Yup, and that's exactly what it is like, or at least my left eye was. :D

Thanks Jerry, you made me use my searching skill's and my head again. I sure wish I knew more of my people's language.:( :o
And I also wish that I hadn't lost Owen's phone number so I could confirm the words and translation. I don't like using just one reference source.:o

As far as the happy juice all you have to do is tell the Dr. that you have anxieties and they'll take care of you.
In this surgery they want you sleepy but alert enough to follow directions. The damned light shining in your raw eye so up close can be very uncomfortable but is soon over with.
Hopefully I won't need my glasses on the computer any longer.
I don't use the for watching TV anymore unless I just happen to be way back from it. :D

I can almost hear Uncle Bill typing ...
"This is great stuff. Thanks"
"What does this have to do with khukuris? Everything."
