possible Brute sighting, Naked and Afraid XL

Hate to admit it, but I have a soft spot for the lame reality TV survival shows...
While watching last night's premier of Naked and Afraid XL, I could have sworn I saw one of the female participants using a Brute...
Don't know how to imbed video clips, so I was hoping one of.the more techy types here could do the leg work to confirm???
Would be pretty cool if it turns out to be the case...
 
Forgot that was on. Have to see if the DVR Picked it up.
I'll keep my eyes open for the brute
 
i've contacted the show, and they agreed to pull that episode :D
 
only knife I remember seeing up close was the one that bit the one chick with the tattoos. do you recall who you thought you saw it on?
 
Its not a brute. Its Laura's knife. I think its a machete of some kind. Its a weird scene the way they edited it. The tattooed girl is using Laura's knife to work on the bow drill in the screenshot I'm posting. Then all of a sudden she is using hers again, then she cuts herself. Anyway... its kind of brute shaped but smaller and a flat grind. Not a Becker. :)

I might be able to find out what knife it is. My best friend is friends with Laura. They were in a car accident together 3 years ago that shattered his hip and ripped my friends scalp off and fractured his skull. She was the one that stayed calm and held a t shirt on his head applying pressure, slowing bleeding and taking care of him until ambulance arrived.
 
I will be honest, I have seen much better executed knives than that Mako. If I was going to drop that kinda cash on a single blade it would be from a short list of makers here on BF
 
For $700 you could have about 10 x BK2 - almost one for everyone there. Or a stack of BK9s. That's a lot of cash for one knife!!! Hard to justify.
