  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Possible new service! Need opinions.

How about Talonite Mike? I dont care for serrated edges myself, but a lot of folks do and I turn down serrated knife orders for the reason I dont do it in my shop. I think it would be a great service to those who prefer a serrated blade.....

Rob,

Never tried Talonite but I don't see why it would not work. If you want send me a blade and I will do one for you.

I have carried various utility tools on my job over the years (Air Traffic Control Radar Technician) and the most useful have been a very large hammer and a serrated edge (wore my Gerber out on a mile of wire!). Maybe a serrated hammer?? But seriously, a 1/2 or so serrated Buck FG112 has a certain appeal to me......say $5.00/inch $7.50 tool up fee sounds about fair
Mike
About what were you thinking it is worth? Are we to far off the "This is the way Microtech does it" price range???
