Possible scam attempt

Wasn't sure where to put this, but I figured you guys would move it as appropriate.

I got this email today. I'm guessing they found me and contacted me through the forums - my website is wwwaaaaayyy to buried in google for anyone to randomly find it with a knife search.

Not sure what their intentions are, but seems kind of fishy. Email as follows:



Dear Sir,

We are Manufacturers and Exporters of all kind of Knives, Laguiole
Knives, Swords, Daggers, Axes and Damascus knives.

Some pictures attach with this mail please see it and confirm to us
which you need for your markets and also your customers. Please if you
have your own design so please pictures send us with complete details.

Awaiting your reply with good response.

They also included myriad pictures of beautiful knives and some awesome designs. Again, I'm not entirely clear about te intent of the email.

I get them a lot -- they want to sale you knives....

So if you want to buy and resale them? Or what ever?

They probably are good looking knives - but not of high quality?

I just spam the emails.

Just because they have some pictures of some nice knives doesn't necessarily mean they make them, have the rights to them, or will ever send you them.
More like one of those, "pay us this much and we'll send you some" then you never get anything.

You should write back asking for some production samples, if you get some, then score, free knives but id DOUBT it.

Get one similar 2 or 3 times a week. I just hit delete.

This is a scam. I have ordered 10 damascus billets from them and after more than a month have not received anything. All I got was promises. They gave me a tracking nr 6320989986 but tracking the parcel remained stationary. I have contacted the DHL office in SA to investigate and their reply was that DHL never received the parcel. I would suggest you stay away from this company because you are going to loose your mony
