I don't believe that John Greco (a long-established, small-shop, semi-custom knifemaker, who has an excellent reputation for hard-use working knives) is going to have any impact on Busse Combat's business. I've communicated with John by email in the past (to ask about a couple knives I bought on the secondary market that he'd made), and he was a good guy. I've never read a post from anyone who's dealt with him that says otherwise, and suspect that at the very least, Jerry and John know of one another's work, and they may well know one another personally. I don't know, but it's possible based on the Lile association that his talon-hole use may even pre-date Jerry's. John's overall designs are not typically what one would consider "Busse knock-offs". I think that cheap, mass-produced foreign knock-offs, similar enough in design to be mistaken as Busse, but of such inferior quality that their poor performance could adversely impact Busse Combat's reputation, are of much greater concern.
