Hey guys! Had the manufacturer reps for Inova in the store yesterday demonstrating their new line of military lights, and I noticed that each one comes in it's own little waterproof container. It's not crush proof, but it is water proof and has a piano hinge. Honestly, it reminds me of an Otterbox, just not as tough and lighter weight. The Inova guy said he had a couple dozen extra of them laying around and I asked if he was interested in contributing a few for you W&SS guys to mess around with as possible survival kit containers. He was fine with it and will be sending them soon.

I don't have pictures, but will put them up when the boxes come in. Prices for the larger model (about the size of the otterbox 2000) would be under $10 plus shipping.

Count me in. Thanks for looking out for us, Spark

If you're not familiar with Otterboxes, the 2000 that Spark referenced is 6-3/4" X 4-1/2" X 1-7/8" outside and 5-3/4" X 3-1/8" X 1" inside.

If they're not all spoken for I'd love to put one through its paces.

When we're putting out forest fires they helicopter pilot almost always drops us in deep sloppy muskeg and I'm always worried the ziplock bag I keep my camera in wont cut it.

I'd like one for the canoe if there are enough to go around.

Thanks Spark!

I'm definitely interested and thanks for looking out.

Are all the new Inova lights coming in these boxes?
