3-7-12 UPDATE: TRADE PENDING.
Testing the waters a bit here, no rush to get rid of this one, willing to wait for the 'right' deal...if I come to my senses, will probably pull it...but anyhow...As per usual, I'll let the photos do most of the talkin'.
Got a very nice one here--A HOGSJTACLE #212. As we know, tigerhide grips, full convex grind. I'm not the original owner for either, but the SJTAC is unused I believe, and mint other than a few hair line scratches to the relatively fragile finish from handling/sheath insertion, etc. Comes with an very good condition Armorall leather sheath w/ pouch specifically made for the SJTAC. The sheath is what I believe they call a 'Fusion' model with Kydex sandwiched between the leather for rigidity. Has 5 extra metal d-type rings for additional securing/mounting options.
I ship USPS priority mail, w/ tracking number, and insurance and expect the same. I offer a 24 hr non-use/no modification/no alteration inspection period.:thumbup:
As with the others I've put out (and withdrawn)...doesn't break my heart to keep any of this, just seeing if somebody can make me an offer I can refuse.
For trades, I'm mostly interested in midsized Busses, particularly a NMSFNO or possibly a Batac or FSH. A comparable leather sheath is strongly desired. If you don't have one, expect to probably add some $$ to balance things out depending on what you have. Higher quality folders (Hinderer, Umnumzaan, Lionsteel, Emerson), decent fixed blades NWA, AA Forge, etc etc etc. A Strider GG or MT or MTL with gunner grips is also of interest. Some $$ might have to change hands based on what ya got. Also willing to mix and match for the right trade.
Feel free to make reasonable offers...the worst I can do is say no thanks, but I'm !not! really looking for multiple lower value knives or generics (Spyderco, Benchmades, etc).
Any trade offer must be in excellent++/LNIB condition.
New Requirement: Any traded knife mailed to me must be PROPERLY packaged. That means a proper-sized BOX, bubble wrap, and packing materials. I'm getting tired of receiving high dollar knives with what appears to be a grand total of about 15 seconds of packing effort
